Library faculty offer lectures, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and tutorials for University of Hawaii at Manoa students, faculty, and staff. The content of these offerings can be customized to fit your needs (see below for a few examples).

Examples of session content:

• basic introduction to information source discovery and evaluation;
• scholarly or scientific versus popular sources of information;
• ethical use of information sources, citation styles, and plagarism;
• updates on information discovery tools in a field of study;
• government information and statistical data;
• interlibrary loan -- what it is and how to use it;
• primary sources in archives and special collections;
• in-depth lectures and workshops for the doctoral-level literature review;
• EndNote -- what it is and how to use it;
• Services for distance learners.
