Accessing Resources from Outside the Library

The University of Hawaii at Manoa Library is testing a new method of accessing electronic resources from outside the Library. After some simple initial setup in your Web browser, you will be able to link directly to subscribed resources without going through the Library's Web site. This should also eliminate an occasional system error some have received while searching EBSCO databases.

For instructions on setting up access from your computer, click on the link for your specific browser to the left.

Access to subscribed electronic resources from non-Library computers is restricted to current University of Hawaii at Manoa students, faculty and staff to comply with licensing agreements. Once you have set up your browser for access, you will automatically be prompted to log in via the UH ITS Web Login Service when you follow a direct link to an EBSCO database.

If you are having trouble accessing electronic resources, please contact us via the Electronic Resources Feedback Form.
