Preservation Week 2012
The theme of "Pass It On,"
reflects the importance of preservation awareness for
everyone. In celebration of the 3rd Annual National
Preservation Week, The Biblio Strips, a group of
students from LIS 620 (Conservation of Library and
Archival Materials), have created a Facebook page,
featuring a series of playful cartoon strips focusing
on the proper care of library materials. The group
hopes that library patrons viewing the strips will
immediately grasp the idea of treating library
materials of all media with kindness.
