The Collections have
their own
reference service, circulation counter
and hours.
Many services vary from the general Library procedures -- for more

NOTICE
REGARDING LIBRARY HOURS:
From December 2 through
December 10, 2009, repairs to cracks in the Hawaiian and Pacific
Collections reading room walls will be made. Attendant noise and dust may necessitate
closure of the reading room during all or some of this period. At
present, we are awaiting more information from the construction
contractor, and will post updates as they become available. Please check back here,
or on our departmental blog.
In addition, Owing to
recent budget cuts, the entire UH-Manoa library (including the Hawaiian
and Pacific Collections) will be closed to
the public Thursday, November 26 through Saturday November 28, 2009; throughout Winter
Interim (December 19, 2009 - January 10, 2010) and Spring Recess (March
22 through 26, 2010).
During these periods, Hawaiian and Pacific Collection librarians will
respond to e-mail reference queries as staffing permits, but all other
H&P services will be unavailable. |
