Virus scanning software is installed on all staff and public PCs and the reference desk PCs. You should not see any difference in the way the microcomputers function. However, if you experience any problems, let DNS know. This software should work automatically in the background. When it finds a virus it alerts the user. It does not automatically eliminate the virus. If you see an PC alert message regarding a virus, let DNS know immediately. Call the urgent problem number, x62478. DNS will then use other software to try to eliminate the virus.
