The External Services Program (ESP) is housed in Hamilton Library on the Manoa Campus of the University of Hawaii. We serve individuals and organizations that are not affilliated with the University of Hawaii by providing rapid access to the Library's collections of:

• 3,323,885 volumes
• 2,316,368 microform units
• 4,775 computer files
• 6,331 linear feet of manuscripts and archives
• 66,516 audiovisual materials
• 15,879 maps and aerial photographs
• 50,804 currently received print and electronic journals & newspapers
• Hawaii, U.S. federal, and United Nations/international government documents
• Special collections of Asian, Hawaiian, and Pacific resources

ESP charges fees on a cost-recovery basis for:

• Document delivery
• Book loans
• Photographic/Imaging services
• Media duplication/Reformatting services
• Preservation services
• Custom research
