Catalog Access While Abroad

In some locations, you may experience problems accessing the UH Voyager System (http://uhmanoa.lib.hawaii.edu/ or the Voyager client). On such occasions, you have the following options:

Option 1: Use OneSearch Manoa
  1. Use the "OneSearch Manoa" search box that appears at the top of the library homepage at http://library.manoa.hawaii.edu/.
  2. Select "Library Catalog Only" from the dropdown in the top search box on the results page, then click "Search" again.

OR

  1. Go directly to OneSearch Manoa at http://uhawaii-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo_library/libweb/action/search.do?vid=OUZ.
  2. Select "Library Catalog Only" from the dropdown in the search box.
Option 2: Request Access from Library Systems
  1. Check and note your IP address using http://myipaddress.com/.
  2. E-mail your IP address and your request to assist@hawaii.edu and cc Jerard Yagi at jyagi@hawaii.edu.

    Telephone Library Systems at 808-956-7853.

You may also consider requesting a virtual private network (VPN) from UH ITS. This will allow you to connect from anywhere as if you are part of the UH network. Learn more at the ITS website: http://www.hawaii.edu/askus/819.
