Audio Visual Borrowing Limits

In an effort to provide maximum access to our collection to as many patrons as possible the Wong Audiovisual Center at Sinclair Library has placed limits on the number of MEDIA items (CD, DVD, Tape, Videotape, Kit, Film, etc.) that a patron may check out at one time. The limit applies to any combination of media types. For example, a limit of 10 items means that you may check out 4 CDs, 4 DVDs, and 2 videotapes, or any similar combination totaling ten items.

These limits vary depending on patron or borrower type. They are as follows:

• Undergraduates (all campuses) --Limited to 10 media items;
• Graduate students (all campuses) -- Limited to 20 media items;
• Faculty -- Unlimited (there is no change in policy, this has been our past practice);
• Community Users and Associate Users -- Limited to 1 item (in house use only). No change from current policy.
