Hamilton Library Water Outage

On Saturday, May 3, there will be a water outage in Hamilton Library (Phase I and II only) between the hours of 6:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Toilets or water fountains will not be available, except for those in Phase III. The air conditioning may also be affected at this time.

Martin Charlot Presentation and Booksigning

WHAT: "Hawaiian Folkways" and "Local Traffic Only"
A brief presentation and booksigning by Martin Charlot
WHEN: Tuesday, January 22, 3:30pm
WHERE: Eugene Yap Room (HL Addition, #A153)
Hawai'i-bred artist Martin Charlot, son of artist Jean Charlot, will
speak about his father, and his own experiences learning mural
painting from the senior Charlot, particularly as it relates to his own
charming mural, "Hawaiian Folkways," commissioned by McDonald's of Hawaii in 1985, illustrating more than 100 proverbs.
Following his presentation, Martin will sign copies of "Local Traffic Only: Proverbs Hawaiian-Style," the keepsake book edition of his mural.
Afterwards, the Jean Charlot Collection on the 5th floor will be open to the public. Go to
