A selected collection of books, articles, maps, and Web sites from the vast and rich body of information available on coral reef ecosystems.​ ​In this exhibit learn the Hawaiian names for coral, identify the world’s oldest living marine species at Papahānaumokuākea, discover a new hermit crab species, and find out how YOU can participate in coral reef conservation.​

From the the Golden Records to the TRAPPIST-1 planetary system, from the Fermi Paradox to the Drake equation, Sci-Tech’s Fall 2017 exhibit illustrates humanity’s efforts throughout history to determine whether or not we are alone in the universe. Come check out this exhibit on display in SciTech Reference through the end of the fall semester.

Extraterrestrials: Science Fiction or Science Fact?
Summer 2017

This exhibit features historical examples of fantastic literary efforts to discover, imagine, and explain extraterrestrial life. From the outlandish narratives of Analog to the gravely serious Flying Saucer Review, these works represent a sample of the trove of eccentric science fiction/science fact works housed in the library. Exhibit on display in SciTech Reference through the end of summer semester.
