Accessibility Resources

Hamilton and Sinclair Libraries have public PC workstations equipped with headphones and ADA-compliant software for screen magnification (Zoomtext) and screen reading (JAWS).

CLIC - ITS Lab

Information Technology Services (ITS) has a computer lab (PCs and Macs) on the second floor of the Hamilton Library Addition. These machines are equipped with Microsoft Office suites and Internet access. Printing is available with the library's debit cards. Login with a UH username and password is required.

Laptop Docking

University of Hawaii faculty, staff, researchers and students who bring their own laptop equipped with an ethernet card and cable may access the campus network from many carrels and tables in the Phase 3 Addition.

Public PC Use Policy

UHM Library computers and related equipment are to be used only to access information resources for educational, instructional and research needs. The use of Library computer equipment for other purposes is prohibited.

Scholars Workstations (aka Word Processing)

The Library provides 20 computers with Microsoft Office 2000 software - termed Scholar Workstations - for University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) students, faculty and staff to do all or most of their educational and research work conveniently within Hamilton Library. There are also 3 flatbed scanners available.

Wireless Access

University of Hawaii faculty, staff, researchers and students who bring their own laptops equipped with wireless cards may access the campus network from many locations in Hamilton and Sinclair Libraries.
